The book was published on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the World Federation of Friends of Museums. It presents a selection of works of art donated to their respective museums by WFFM’s member associations over the last few decades. The works included in the volume perfectly illustrate the diversity of the various geographical regions of the world represented by WFFM.

Bernard Aikema, art historian, author of important essays and editor of international publications, is the scientific curator of the book.
