The World Federation of Friends of Museums (WFFM/FMAM) is an international nonprofit, nongovernmental organisation that unites and supports all Friends of museums around the world.
Legally constituted in Belgium in 1975, WFFM brings together a growing number of Friends and volunteers from all over the world, who understand the importance of combining their efforts in the conservation of mankind's cultural heritage.
Its members, 17 national federations and 28 associations in 34 different countries, participate in the international, national, and regional activities of the organisation, currently representing nearly two million individuals.
